Default c7 parts to fit on c6?

This thread is about what we can retrofit to our cars. I personally really like those competition seats, wonder if I'll be able to replace my stock z06 seats. I'm curious what that 7 speed trans will be strength wise and also if the steering that is 5x better could be adapted to our cars.

Anything else?

I don't like my 2008 seats, these look a lot nicer. My point is as these things get to wrecking yards, or parts are reasonable to order direct through GM, what would be worth retroactively adapting? To me, the seats are a perfect example.

Steering would not be worth the cost of swapping. It's now electronically assisted instead of hydraulic. It has all new mounting points.

The seats will probably be more expensive than using Caravaggio. Plus I'm guessing the electronic connectors for the air bags and what not's will be different.

Seats for sure. I wonder if the brakes as shown are better than our Z06 brakes, they are made by Brembo.

I doubt the Brembo brakes will be on the base model.

Brembo brakes are an upgrade on the Z51 package.

C7 seats would be a nice upgrade if they would fit. Carvaggio also very nice but $$$$.

After the junk yards get the first 20 or 30 crash victims that won't be an issue. Everybody drives on used parts.

The C7 - is "ferrari business like" in the front end and "Camaro Mullet like" on the back end. -- GM brought the pontiac Azteck designers out of retirement to work on the back end of the C7.

Lot of talk about those seats. But if you look at the high res pics of them at 1280x850, and then blow that image up to full screen, they're the same cheap stuff which has shown up in Vettes for years.

Same "pleather"/"leatherette" side bolsters and headrest.

Leatherette with exceptionally poor "fit and finish" at the "carbon fiber". Single stitching where they thought they could get away with it around the pillar area of the headrest. As per usual, a good portion of the seat, as in the C6, is vinyl.
Pleather, vinyl and cheap plastic wherever they could put it.
