I can't afford an original '65/'66 coupe, but the more of these restomods I see, the more I want one. Not sure what it costs to do something like this yourself from the ground up, but I suppose it might be more affordable. Of course, the Grand Sports kit car is something I want, but the high $$$ for those makes this more realistic.

While not necessarily my "cup of tea" stylingwise (don't worry, you're not gonna get any resto-mod bashing from me, I like this car) I do love that no matter how modified a midyear becomes the builders usually stay true to the OEM "twin-cowl" instrument panel. That dash has got to be one of the best designed features in a sportscar.

The tach was where the speedo normally is, it was the speedo not working. Can't figure whey they swapped locations.

Ah.....that confused me...which doesn't take much. Why would such a swap deem necessary. To quote Sgt Schultz..."very interesting"!.

Massive boost?
I'm sorry, but I just don't like it without the front bumpers.

This car is the car that really made me love C2 corvettes. I saw this video a year or two ago when a friend was looking at purchasing an engine from Nelson Racing engines, who built the engine for this car. This vette has a twin turbo 355 in it I think, this is likely a mild build for this builder. I would like to see the front bumpers though.
