I think its "era" specific really. Look at all the Greens that were decent sellers in 65/67.... While I like em' 2013 eyes tend to see things differently.

I am always drawn to the unusual though.

Black Exterior/Red interior is simply stunning, but not ordered that frequently "back in the day"

I would imagine that Goldwood Yellow wasn't that popular... and some still consider it a chick's color... but with Black/White interior... man that thing is Awesome!

In 1967 only 815 were painted BLK. Not sure about interiors. I know that there are not that many Tan/Tan 1963 combo's but there are no numbers that I can find to tell us how many for sure. People say that now Green is not a good color but in 1967 it was the number one color. So go figure.

And there are even fewer Tan/Black... which is a neat combo too. I have only seen one of those.

I find it interesting that the 67 black price bump really only works for the big block cars with the contrasting hood stinger color. The small blocks really don't see that much price differentiation.

As for the 67 Big blocks, I'd say that the blacks (if original) are clearly the most valuable (with maybe the blue stinger the highest of all, then red, then white), then the reds, then silver, then the blues (all of them approximately the same value), then maroon and white (about equal), then yellow, and finally green. The difference in value can run as much as $125,000 just for color from what I've seen (for the 435HP engine option).

1965 Milano Maroon with Maroon leather (one year only) or Silver Pearl with Silver leather are a couple of rather stuuning combinations. But there is something just perfect about a '66 Trophy Blue with Dark Blue interior ... Part of the reason I purchased my '66 coupe was that it is Milano Maroon with a Saddle interior. It's a great colour combo and it's the closest thing to owning a Ferrari 250 GT Lusso that I could reasonably imagine.

My '64 was built red with silver seats and door panels, red dash and floor carpets. Silver carpet on the doors! Red paint is okay, but the interior combo was the UGLIEST. Dyeing the dash and floor carpets black was a huge improvement, looked good with the silver door panels, and silver seats were cool in hot weather without showing dirt like white.

PS: For the last 25 years the exterior has been Porsche Guards Red and the interior has tan leather '84 seats, MUCH more supportive and comfortable on long drives.

Maybe someone with years in the Corvette auction business can quantify it for you. The highest value Corvettes I've seen are the ones with the original color they left the factory with many years ago.

BTW - This white/blue BB was simply stunning. Wow.

I was at a local auction about 6 years ago, and there was a '65 coupe in Tuxedo Black with Medium Blue interior with KO's and white wall tires... it was very stunning.

Its just my opinion but that dark green is just terrible. Im not to fond of the blue interior either but to each his own LOL
