Thinking I may sell the GS
My wife got her new car Sunday. Caddy CTS-V sedan. I have only driven it a couple of times, but it seems like a runner.
WE also have a 2010 GS and a paid for C5. I enjoy driving the C5. I switch off between the two vettes as daily drivers.
Now with the Caddy, I am trying to justify keeping both vettes. We usually took trips in the GS. Now, I can't see us doing that as the Caddy would be more comfortable.
Got a decision to make.

The cts v your wife has is a wld @SS ride ! Congrats.
Jay what I suggest doing is set what you think is a fair price for both the c5 and the c6...
Advertise both and whichever buyer comes closest...sell that car.
Personally I would probably keep the GS as parts on the c5 s are becoming difficult to come by.....
Good luck and enjoy that new cts v! Wow you have a cool wife..

I'd certainly keep one of the Vette's, as gonna be fuel milage enono cars, compared to the 4200 lb CTS-V. Both C5 and C6 Vettes are nice, so tough decision there. If the C6 still has a lien on it, best getting that cleared up, as be a much easier sell.

justify
Let me know when you can justify owning two Vettes. I couldn't do it so now I have a C6, got rid of my tired C5.
of course I seldom can justify all the cars in the garage. 2 drivers only need 2 cars? I never seem to get that right.

Sell the C5 and the GS get a C7 and with your CTS-V you will be all set.

Safety Car
Keep the C6 GS... From looking at the leaks of the C7 and its strange design. The C6 GS is still going to be one of the best looking vettes out there for a long time to come.

I also own more bedrooms and more bathrooms then I can use at any given point in time.
If I want it, and can afford it, I buy it. I don't ask for my neighbor's permission(through justification).

If you have to ask why you have to keep a C6 vs a CTS-V then you should definitely just sell both vettes and move on. From a pure sports car/performance perspective there is no comparison.
