Reproduction Seat Backs
Are pretty terrible compared to the originals. Like a piece of paper. Easily half the weight, texture is off, and the indentations are different. Just saying. I'm going to hang on to my originals and see if I can have them repaired.

Also trying to locate a good set of seat tracks w/o paying $500 for a rebuilt set from Corvette America.

I also found the repops to be poor quality and not close to original.
I couldn't find any at Carlisle this past year. I sent back the ones I had ordered and refinished (filled in cracks) and repainted my originals.

I agree with you. My originals were cracked, so I ended up trimming them around the edges and usinig them inside the reproductions. It gave some additional weight and strength to them.

Noticed you are Canadian try Kens Corvettes in Kitchener he had a 1973 he was parting out a little while back he may have something for you and hes very well pricedc and nice to deal with.Cheers and Merry Christmas
