I see the C7 heading in a sportier more track focused direction than Aston. The younger crowd will be impressed with the stats generated by the C7.
My son will ask if the C7 is faster than the Aston and I will have to say yes !

While true the Aston is among the most beautiful designs...the performance and ownership maintaince.costs of corvette crush Aston to make it an also ran.
Gms research and development of corvette make it a pleasure to own whereas Aston is cobbled together with very little regard to actual ownership or durability...
It's nonsensical as an everyday vehicle and no where near as fast or good handling...
Definitely beautiful without a doubt

I think their engines are too far forward and they are too heavy to be as fun as a C7. It has the air of a supreme sports car but not the spine of one.
Imo too close to luxury for ...comfort

16 Vettes and counting…..
Very different cars in price point, purpose, and target buyer. My buddy has an AMV8 and it's stunning looks and jaw-dropping interior are offset by the unreliability, unlivable ride, and horrible transmission. There's something quite compelling about it though.....though not nearly compelling enough for me to put up with its flaws in order to own one.
The C7 will be no slouch in the looks department department though:

I think the latest C7 renders show that the expected design will take cues from all the popular front engine sports car designs (GTR, Ferrari, Aston Martin).
Which is a good thing. It does directly copy any design, but its takes the best features and does its on "Chevy" interpretation of how the C7 should look.

lol I'm 6'4. I really wanted to fit in there but my knees were touching. The dealer went so far as to find some altered seat mounts...still no dice. Everytime I went to push in the clutch my knee would hit. Had to say no
