If this is really the C7 ....

Yup, don't like the rear of the car. Like my C5 and C6 much better.
Should be very fast though, uses the aluminum frame from the C6 Z06 and a lot of carbon fiber. Weight is supposed to be 3000 lbs. I'm guessing performance on par with the C6 Z06.

Who wants a rebadged Camaro? EPIC FAIL!
This is what the new C7 owners will have to look forward to.
They'll have to go slow so everyone who passes them can look in their rearview mirror and see the new Corvette C7!
If the new C7 owners go too fast and blow by other car owners. all those drivers are gonna say " Wow did you see how fast the new Camaro is?" The rear end is all they will see.
I hope the real C7 isn't a Camaro clone.
But the brightside is I get to drive my C5 which IS a REAL Corvette!

Thank heaven it's not automobile perfection, I don't have a spare $60k laying around. I'll bet the new C7 will grow on us as time goes by, but thankfully we have our C5's to maintain and enjoy.

All these Camaro comments are ridiculous. Yes, it has the same tail lights...but that's it. There are no other similarities on the exterior. Calling it a Camaro is just silly.
I rather like this design, though I'm not a fan of the rear end. I don't care for the tail lights either. Plus, i prefer a flat back end than it bowing out in this rendering. Looks good otherwise, and close enough to a C6 to look like the next modern step of the Corvette.

You like the design?
You don't like the back half, 50% of the car.
to each, his own.

It's an artist's rendering, not an actual image of the C7. The real 2014 design won't be released until January 13.

Look I don't believe for a minute that this is what the rear if the car looks like, if you google C7 spy shots and go to images there is a perfect view of the car and to me those tail lights do not look squared off.
