What is your plan B???
I am sure the C7 will be great, but if it is a disapointment I am thinking of going with the new Viper. I am curious what everyone is thinking... If not the Viper, what will you do? Keep and upgrade your C6? ZL1 or Shelby? I just cannot get into the 911s. I am praying GM nails the C7 and spares me this dilemma!!!

Drifting
59 years of previous Vettes to choose from... or Superformance Cobra or keep my 08. I toyed around with the idea of changing flavors all together and getting a V series Caddy or an Audi S5, but when I start thinking that way I get sad.
The C7 is growing on me so in time it might be a moot issue.

I fully expect the c7 to be awesome.
But if not...I'll hang with my mint c6 z51 NPP m6.
I do look forward to the new mustang and 6th gen camaro,
I also dig the new 911S with pdk.

I do as well.
But in the far distant outside chance that the car might turn out to be a total disappointment (it won't) I would likely just keep my current C6 (which I might've been doing anyway even if I were to get a C7), possibly get a later model C6 LS3 or even C6 Z06.

I have had my C6 for 1 year, 4 months. Not gonna do anything as far as I know for about 2 years, minimum. None of us have any idea what the world will look like at that time so my plan A and plan B coincide.

Plan A - keep my 2009 coupe.
Plan B - run out and buy a nice & hugely discounted 13 GS coupe when the 14 arrives.

If it's something I just can't warm up to I'll keep my '05 and look for a low mileage '11 or '12 Z06. I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that, as "Plan B's" by nature are kind of second choice alternatives and not what you were hoping for.

Plan B is a 2013 C6 GS.

If I don't like the C7 (which from what I've seen, I seriously doubt) I'll just mod the heck out of my C6.

Used, low mileage C6 ZR1 or a 4th generation viper. If the C7 impresses me, I'll wait and buy the high performance model used after its had a chance to depreciate...I am really liking the latest renderings...

Plan B? I will be keeping a close eye on the '13 GS vert prices along with wether I like the look of the c7 exterior balanced against its interior and performance.
If I like the C7, done deal, I will buy one (Default Plan A).
If I don't like it along with others similarly opinioned, '13 GS prices may go up with increased demand. Tougher decision and may make me look elsewhere.
If I don't like the C7 but many do thus reflected in progressively lower prices for a '13 GS vert, early January, 2013 may be a time to buy one with the most inventory to pick among.
I think I'm in control of myself, so far.
