Default In your opinion....The best looking Corvette ever?

The C6 GS and 427 Convertibles IMHO, are among the best looking Corvettes ever made. However, if I had to pick the best looking Corvette ever....The '63 Coupe would be it.
What's the best looking Vette ever.... in your eyes?

I like the 67 big block myself, but will like the NRB 427 I am picking up in the next three days better I think.

Since I was in my teens in the 70's, the C3 has always held a special spot in my heart. I wanted one in the worst way but just couldn't afford one..

'70-'72 convertible.
The high fenders and "Coke bottle" shape are a great look, with a small touch of chrome all around to add sparkle.
I think the grating on the side vent give it the edge over the '68-'69.

Another vote for the 63 split window. My old friend and forum member built this unbelievable classic you have got to see to believe.

With a real 427, not a genius marketing ploy.

Default Smooth Lines

I prefer sleek looks, which is why I prefer the look of the C5 and C6 corvette coupes. The C6 wins out in my eyes over the C5 as an overall package due to the external headlights and revised rear end, although I do like the rounded doors of a C5 over the harder lines on the C6.

I also say coupe because to my eyes the rear brake vent/hood scoop added, and bulging fenders of the GS, Z06, and ZR1 ruin the smooth lines of the car. Likewise with the rear vent added to the C5 Z06 and revised rear glass.

Great looking cars all the same, but not as smooth. Most people prefer more aggressive looks in their sports cars anyway, which I think is why the GS is so popular now.

I think the Ferrari 360 was the best looking car made by that company, and smoothness is also why I prefer the Firebird Formula over the Trans AM or Camaro. I also think the Jaguar XJ220 is the sexiest looking car ever made.

I'm with RACER, 1967 427 Roadster. But the C6 convertibles are pretty pretty, also.
