Had red piping made.
A few weeks ago I noticed a member posted a pic showing his regular black stock interior but it had red piping running along his radio bezel. I thought about it for awhile and decided to have the local upholstery guy make some(he kinda went overboard and made me about 4 feet too much) for me. I always had a thing about the gaps around the bezel and the rest of the console. After installing the piping I'm pretty pleased with the look.
So thanks for the idea!

Rick, you did a heck of a job with the flag. My only concern about piping, which is why I didn't use the extra(for the traction control panel) I got from Redline, is the fit. How does it stay in place, and is the fit consistent thru the entire run? How about tight curves/corners??

Thanks for the compliments!!!
Good questions, I had the piping made with 1.5 wide "flashing" to stick in between the bezel and dash. I also trimmed the flashing in the corners so it fold around them better. I cut slots into the flashing so I could stick all the bezel tabs through the slots which secure the bezel/piping to the dash, so it can't be pulled loose or fall out. I hope I answered your questions.

Looks really good Rick. Never thought about putting piping in those areas.
