If you are referring to an axle-back or cat-back as people call them, the point is for sound and looks. But a tune will wake the car up. Intake work is more important on these cars. You have an LS6 intake manifold, so that is nice, now do a high flow filter, or look up the flip tie mod, and possibly port the throttle etc. These will give better response and some power gains. If you do an exhaust, do an x-pipe with it to make it worth while.

Brand is just a matter of preference. Everyone will come on here and tell you what they have and why its the best. They are all the same though. If you want sound, look for the small or lack of mufflers. If you want quiet, any systems with full size mufflers will stay quiet.

If you want to add a little bit of power then long tube headers are the way to go and they will change the sound a little bit making it sound a little more aggressive.

I did a intake, Long tube headers, xpipe, bb exhaust and tune. dyno stock 328, after 391 on the ground. spent about 3000 but well worth it. I am going to put a fast 90 soon and retune.

So you dynoed 10% more than a C5z with just bolt-ons and a tune?

Which is why I don't buy it. Or the dyno is the most generous in history...

Yes I lied, not intentional, I have called to get a copy of dyno but was told it was 373 on the ground hp / 391 torque. Still I will post a copy as soon as I get it.
