A little too far for me to travel, but it does sound like a fun time.

For a one day event it is a long trip from Missouri. But.....
Every year There us a group of Corvettes from Missouri that show up for my 3 day Corvettes on Woodward Cruise in August. Next year it begins on Wednesday August 14-16.

Looks ok for me. It's the weekend going into 4th of July week though so many people who work for the Big 3 leave town since we're all shut down for the week. Just something to think about.

So far I have about 100 Corvettes interested. They are bringing thier drivers too. That is enough for me to start making plans.

At this time the place that was offered to me to have the party was the GM Headquarters the "Ren Cen". I am working to get tours of the GM Heritage Center on Friday also the GM Build Center but I won't know about that until after the New Year. Both of these places will be on my Corvettes on Woodward Food Drive & Cruise in August.

The National Counsel of Corvettes Clubs(NCCC) is having their annual convention there that week. The party I am planning is for tose that choose not to go to Bowling Green and want to celebrate here where the Corvette was born. My original intention was to do it in Flint but there isn't even a stick in the ground marking where the first Corvette was built. By next June there might be a couple of C-7s at the party. Looks like I might have a helecopter fly over to get pictures both at the Ren Cen and if we all go to Belle Isle. Imagine the photo op of all of those Corvettes crossing the bridge and circling Bells Isle on the same road as the Detroit Greand Prix. I would also like to use the opportunity to promote the 2014 National Corvette Caravan to the Museum.

My best guess is that you will see the C-7s at the C-5, C-6 and C-7 Bash in April. Rumors are flying all over at where it will be seen first. Detroit, LA or Chicago auto shows or wait until the Bash in April. We will see it when it is ready. That is for sure. It is just fun to guess with anticipation.

Not at the Bash this time , per person of Most knowledge . And this is not same time as NCCC Convention . No one other than 60th Birthday Event will have access to the Plant or this CLOSE - UP in and around cars .

I must be getting old and confused. By next June 2013 won't the C-7 already be annouced and ready for production? It really doesn't matter to what will be happening here in Michigan anyway. We know how to party in Michigan.
