Here is a link.

That sure looks like a removable top to me. The masses can cease worrying. Shame that there is still so much camo on it, revealing nothing new. I know I will regret saying this, but the two center taillights sure do look circular to me.

SOS - though the rear tires look huge to me.

Explain to me why there would be that wind screen like material they use over areas that have to breath or light has to pass through on the hood. Hood extracting vents? Sure looks like a possibility to me.

I think the hood/fender venting in the Jalopnik rendering will come to pass some day. If the Camaro ZL1 can do it, I have no doubt that the Vette will do it eventually.

The "lights" are circular but they look to be set into a somewhat rectangluar opening. Interesting but I'd want to see the finished product before passing judgement.

I'm still trying to picture the rear end through that covering without the bias of the renderings, I'm not sure what I think.

Also, is this said pictures from that other post perhaps?

Don't know about the lights of course, but the basic shapes match the renderings.

Also in picture 4, the front fenders seem a lot bigger than I expected them to look.

Another thing about the rear, it is somewhat convex, not flat as shown in the animation.

Yeah they reall do. Take that picture again, full version linked here (click to zoom):

http://rumors.automobilemag.com/file...-rear-view.jpg

If you follow the lines of the rear hatch area from the top of the room down to the rear end, it not only appears a little more V shaped, but it appears just above and to the right of the center lights that the rear hatch seems to be below the surface of the rear end. It's hard to explain, but is this due to a spoiler? or is there something we haven't seen much of?

It's hard to see what's real and what's padding, especially along the top of the front fenders and the butt.

What are those weird striations across the front of the roof panel?

Not sure what you mean, what striations?

Also, notice the front portion of cover that is vented by the grill, but it goes up past the grill. That shadowed area there, hard to tell the shape of the body there, almost looks a bit more cut in on front end from the second picture.

That much is obvious. I'm just saying the devil is in the detail, and I doubt Jalopnik got them all correct. Honestly, the quality of that rendering is **** poor compared to what other can do, it is very rough. Compared the the Trinity rendering this thing is hardly realistic, and even the Trinity (no offense, it is great work) can be seen as unrealistic compared to other renderings out there. It is a factor of time. ***this isn't to discredit the work done to make any renderings***

I'm just saying it seems a little different is all.

Just reflections...some sort of cloud reflections I'd guess.

Well, did Jalopnik spend the time or money doing pricey 3D renderings? No. But don't forget the details of the Jalopnik images are what all the 3D renderings were done from.
