AC Blowing hot, worked great before battery was unhooked
I unhooked my battery to do the TPMS upgrade on my 1998 C5 corvette. Put the car back together and start it up, everything seems to be working fine. Today, I drive it for the first time, and the AC is flat out not working. All the gauges work (outside temp, adjustment, etc), but it blows nothing but hot air. The compressor was replaced <1.5 years ago by the previous owner, and I confirmed that with the shop before I got the car. It blew ice, ice, ice cold before that unhook. Is there a fuse I should check (which one?) Anything else?

Bill, thanks for helping a fellow forum member. Not often do we see such a qucik response that is spot on and results in a quick fix that costs zero dollars (except for the beer). I'll bet he buys you more than a pint. Hope you can hook up some time for that tasty beverage.

Bill, Ive been a CF member for awhile, but am now having the common A/C hot on driver's side, cold on passenger side problem. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. My vette is an 03 with the newer temp actuator. Here's where I am with it.
I would get the codes 0361 0363 and 0441, and I could clear them using the reset button on the dash. Most times, I would have to do it a number of times before it would "fix" the problem. The problem usually happened after I turned the temp control on the HVAC module. It was not a big problem, but I thought one day I would get to the bottom of it. I read a lot about the problem on this forum and others, and a lot of people pointed at the left temp actuator. Last week, I was going to work on my upgraded sound system, so I went ahead and took the dash pad out and removed the left side temp actuator. I had seen pictures of broken gears inside that could be fixed instead of paying $300 for a new one. When I opened it up, tho, everything looked good. I put it back together and hooked it up without replacing the dash and ran the codes. I still get the same three. I have the shop manual, and it suggests that there may be a problem with the door that throws the 0441 code. I'd like to get this right before I put the dash back on. Any suggestions?
