Default Registry for all C6 Zs that are running great with no LS7 issues, year, mileage, mods

If it's good for the Goose it's good for the Gander.

2006 C6 Z with 17,800 miles (2nd owner)

Stock except for CAI and Bullet Exhaust

Fun and fast as heck!

Looks and is bad azz!

Best bang for the buck supercar that one can buy BY FAR!

Has a magical 427 cubic inch legendary engine making over 500 HP from the factory!

Runs like a Champ with no issues.

All this, and has another 3 years of bumper to bumper GMPP Warranty.

Give the thread some time; meanwhile aren't you suppose to be trolling on one of the ricer forums?

I thought it was clear that this thread was for folks who actually owned a C6 Z.

'07 daily driver with 59750 miles. CF 102, ported intake/throttle body, B&B long tubes and tune. Run hard every now and then. First failure, window register calibration. Dealer fix, no charge and he didn't even embarrass me by pointing out the proceedure in the manual. Second failure, got on the car really hard, serious wheel hop. Broke a rear brake light fillament. That's it. Oh, I had the "Really hard to get into and out of reverse" thing but as mysteriously as it came, it also just went away.

How does the engine feel at high rpm? Does it still rev freely to 7000 RPM like a stock engine?

My biggest concern with changing to stainless steel valves is revvability near redline.

I am running high quality springs good to .700 lift. it twists up faster than stock and pulls crazy hard. no worries there.

2007

38,000 miles, original owner

160*F stat + manual fan switch.

Engine and suspension are BONE stock (and will remain that way!)

3 track days, zero oil consumption except on track days

Warranty replaced leaking engine-pan seal.

I ain't worried 'bout my engine blowin' up ... and I read this forum to put myself to sleep at night ...

2008 41000 miles 2nd owner bought it GM certified.Mostly interior mods padded console cover.Z06 floor mats.Xpipe.
The car has been great runs perfect.Haven't had to add any oil between changes every 5k.I must say I don't track the car.
I also don't have the so called sewing machine sounds even when the engine is cold at start up.
Just did a trip to the key west the car never missed a beat even in a torrential rain.Have done a few 3k mile trips to Ohio and back.
What can I say the car has been great plan on going for 100k at least

Cammed and slammed 2006 18,000 miles, Katech stage 1 car, turned into a Stage 2 WCCH milled/ported head car. 546 rwhp, 501 tq, 100 1/4 passes, daily driven. No issues ever. Car makes me laugh at how ridiculously insane it is at braking, cornering, and powersliding out of benders. Its my daily therapy for the daily beatings I receive at work.

PS - my guides were all 100% in spec when the heads were done, never smoked or consumed any oil.

Love the #@$% out of this car.
