Two screws on each under there. take them out and then shimmy the whole assembly out, change the bulbs and put them back in.

the reverse lights are easy, just get under there and reach in. they just twist off. No jack needed.

It's a little easier if you take out the tail/brake light closest to the burned out license bulb - you can reach in behind to work it out. If you're really good you can change the bulb that way but you have to do it all one-handed.

When I replaced my L.P. bulbs with LED bulbs, I had to remove the license plate and frame to gain clearance.

Just changed mine to LEDs yesterday. Take out the 2 small Torx screws on each light. fish the housing outside the opening, change the bulbs and put it back in with the 2 Torx screws

So was it the fuse or the bulbs or both?

When changing the licence plate bulbs, I am unable to replace the fitting after bulb replacement unless I remove the inner tail lights to use my other hand to hold the holders.

Sounds like you have blown a fuse ? I don't know how you would have done that.

Take the bulbs out and switch the polarity (reverse the bulb installation). They should work!!

On my 2005 I switched to LED's for license plate light. Use torx screw to unscrew screws that hold housing.
The reverse lights are actually easier to change.

If you have the bulb in the wrong way it won't work. Take it out and turn 180 degrees then put it back it. It will work. Stop looking for the fuses.

Both very easy swaps, change them out for LED's much better look, much better light.

If your installing led lights then yes they have to be installed for polarity but that will not kill your rear parking lights.

This may seem odd, but when I did this I did the two torx screws and got the housing out, but the bulb was like inside the housing thing and there was not a way to get to it? There was the clear housing in front, which was like sealed to the backing (the part that the torx screws go in). It was not like someone had messed with it before. I did see these black 'tab' like things, but moving them seemed to do nothing as they seemed to be holding the wires and not the bulb. I got one of the tabs up a bit and it did move the bulb or anything and to be honest didn't seem to have a purpose. Thoughts?
