1984 Corvette. Value?
i have a 1984 corvette with 48500 original miles. never had and engine or transmission work done. Never had any leaks. Been kept in the same garage since 1984 when my grandpa bought it. it has sun damage on the front bumper, and small amount on the back bumper. the black paint is in very good condition. has the smoke black targa top. the interior is in amazing condition. the carpet looks new and the leather on the seats has held up great, still looks awesome. the car is all original. i was wondering what i would be able to sell it for if i wanted to. i have been looking to trade up maybe to a newer model. thanks guys for all of your help, i am new on here. i hope i posted this correctly. I am posting some pictures on my profile. message me or reply here! Thank you all.

Is it an automatic or manual transmission? An automatic in the good condition you describe even with a few paint issues could be worth about $5500.00. A much more rare manual transmission in the same condition is worth about $6500.00. You need to find a serious buyer to get that much money though. Many are just tire kickers looking to rip you off. There are people who will tell you values of $2500.00 to $4000.00. Basically people who never knew much about them, bash them, and base their appraisal on a few high mileage "beaters" that they've seen thinking they're all like that. The really clean low mileage 84's are finally gaining in value.

looks like a nice car. take some time and detail it out, -- clean the wheel wells and under hood as well as a good polishing and condition the leather seats. car will show much better and the elbow grease will pay off in more interest and a higher price.
If you don;t want to do it yourself, a high quality detail job is about 100-200 bucks.
