Default 1972 LT-1 Convertible with AC for sale

1972 Corvette LT-1 Convertible with Air Conditioning with 74,xxx original miles. One of approximately 50 LT-1 convertibles with air conditioning produced in 1972. This car is the rare 1972 Bryar Blue color (only 389 convertibles) with a blue vinyl interior (special override required, only 164 convertibles had a trim override) and white convertible top. All numbers matching car with power steering, AM/FM stereo, 3.55 rear axle, and M20 4 speed. Top Flight and Ladies Choice awards at the 2007 NCRS Boston Nationals. This car has had many parts replaced with correct NOS parts and some restoration work done. The paint is a show quality BC/CC that was done in 2005. This car was in the 2009 NCRS Gallery at Corvettes at Carlisle. This is probably the only LT-1 Bryar Blue convertible with AC and a blue vinyl interior in existence. It also has the original tank sticker. If you want a one of a kind car this is it!!! $68,500.

I've attached some pictures below. More pictures can be seen at Photobucket – www.photobucket.com/72LT1withAC

Really nice car Matt... Still can't believe that this wasn't a specified color combination as it looks fantastic.

If I didn't have my own, I'd be all over this.

Stan Falenski

Hi LT-! A,
Wonderful looking car!
In 1972 a fellow, (U.S. Army), in the apartment complex I lived in sold a Porsche to buy a car just like yours. It was the first LT-!, a/c car I saw.
I wonder if this could be it? It came from a D.C. dealership.
I've NEVER forgotten it!
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the compliments guys

Alan - the car was originally sold from Rosenthal Chevrolet in Virginia (Arlington I believe). The first owners name was Ray.

Hi LT-!,
That's the car!
The fellow was regular army, but assigned to the ROTC program at our local small college; Western Maryland College.
He went off one day with the Porsche, and came home with an LT-!.
Like I said, I've ever forgotten it!
Regards,
Alan

Default Lt-1

Saw the LT-1 at Carlisle. It is spectacular.

I would buy it or at least make an offer if I could afford it right now.

Fell in love with it at first glance.

Since I've owned the car I have only done cosmetic work to the engine (no rebuilds). As far as I can tell the transmission and rearend are original and don't appear to have been worked on.

I spoke with Ray last year. He saw my ad for the car then and called me. He filled in some of the questions I had about the car which was really cool. Seems likes a nice guy. I wish he would buy it. I think that would be very cool.

If anyone is interested, make an offer. You never know what can happen in this crazy economy. All "reasonable" offers will be considered.
