I am looking for a 17" dragradial rim for my 06 Z. do you guys have any suggestions as to where i might locate a set? Do I need 17" or will the 18" work as well. I am thinking the 17" will give me a gear reduction that will boost my 60' times and still run out well.

what do you guys know?

The C5 Z06 front rims (17 x 9.5) are quite popular and fit very well on the rear of C6 Z06s (with stock rear brakes at least). Check the forum classifieds as well as ebay for some decent deals. Either 275-40-17 or 315-35-17 drag radials are the most widely used for those rims.





18s will work also but the 17s might still be the better choice (and the tires are a little cheaper as well).

Just picked up some rear C4 ZR1 repo's from AFS wheels - 17x11 with the 36mm backspacing. Mounted Hoosier 315-35-17 drag radials on them and will be hitting the track June 15th. I just emailed AFS and asked if they would only sell the 2 rears and they did.
