Default NEW! RPI Z06/GS Front Splash Guards - Long Awaited!

Hello!

Please note. The top isn't finished, it'll taper to the body. This is our first proto-type.

** Available for cars without ZR1 side skirts and also availble for cars with our ZR1 style side skirts, or GM's ZR1 side skirts ***

You guys have been asking us for sometime to create a splash guard for the back of the front wheels on your Z06 and Grand Sport. We've come up with a nice design that matches the rear splash guard that GM installs from the factory.

Here are the pictures:

Just to compare, here is the GM splash guard from the factory on the rear wheel:

Please give us your questions and comments. If you guys like the design, we'll build the molds and start offering them for sale. We'll take pre-orders. These are hand made in the USA!

We are looking to start shipping April 16th.

Pricing:

*Flat Black: $199.95 /set (we'll include an optional rubber gasket)

*Pre-Painted Any Body Color: $279.95 /set

*Carbon Fiber: $299.95 /set (overlay on the back side only. Front will remain flat black)

We are taking pre orders on the forum. Please send us your name and address if you'd like to be added to the list. You can either email us: Josh@rpidesigns.com, PM us, or call us.

I'm interested, but 199.99 is gonna be out of my price range. They do look nice though.

Those are pretty good prices compared to Apsis who wants up to 800 bucks for their carbon fiber versions. Their new skinny splash guard was listed at $320 for flat black.

Will you have a version compatible with your ZR1 side skirts?

Ok Josh…Finally.

Can you please measure how far these extend out from the fender, measured at the widest point (near the bottom) and post or PM me the dimension?

Thanks.

They mount over top of your plastic wheel well. We provide the bolts to attach.

Yes, we have both for cars without ZR1 side skirts and for cars with ZR1 side skirts. Compatible with our side skirts and GM side skirts. Don't know about other companies.

Yes, widest point is 1.5".

We used the same taper that GM did on the rear splash guards. I think those look good. We went with the same idea.

Is it wide enough at the bottom to deflect the sand and rocks away from the rear brake ducts?

The current APSIS design is approx 2 3/4 in. wide at bottom. FWIW

Is the material they are made from, resistant to chipping? Others have mentioned in threads, the currently available products, are to big, expensive, and leave little white specks, from chipping! Looking forward to the finished product!
