Thanks, I did find that one on the autozone site earlier. According to THAT drawing, it IS a PCM.
Also, I know those drawings are in the FSM, however I do not HAVE an FSM or else I wouldn'ta been on here askin this question. lol. Sheesh.

Do you believe what Autozone tells you or someone has owned 2 '93s? PCM did not start till '94. You need the FSM for your car it will answer all your electrical questions. I have never heard anyone asking for a pin out of all the wires so I doubt you going to find a post on it. I did ask why you needed it though.....

I have a complete LT1, harness and computer from a wrecked '93 Vette that I recently aquired. I have transformed the harness into a "essentials only" stand alone harness. I'm going to put this engine in a 1971 Pontiac Ventura with a muncie 4-speed behind it. Since I made my original post, I was able to locate the proper schematic and I have typed up my own 'pinout' description. Here it is below, now it'll be here for anyone else who might need this information.

ECM/PCM -they are just computers that control the electronic sensors. Some are reprogrammable on the car and some require being erased before reburning a new set of commands to them. Even C.A.T.S. Tuner software refers to them as ECM's.
On the newer ones, just call em a PECM. Lighten up!

lol...PCM, ECM....its really a moot point for me. Semantics. The schematic that I had for this particular computer had it identified as the "Powertrain Control Module", hence the language I used to describe it. I really don't care WHAT it is called....lol.
Thanks again for all the help guys, I appreciate it. The guy with the Autozone link is what helped me the most. I still can't believe they had that schematic...lol. (and for the record, I have verified that it was in fact correct. The wire count, color code and pin locations were all correct for ECM 16159278)

I've been messing with these little toys for about 14 years, I've owned lots of them and fixed many more.... I can't think of a reason you wouldn't need this information for some thing... right now I am trying to bypass the vats because I bought two of these 1993 beauties that someone lost the keys to.

Still trying to get one of these vette’s running... I have gone through 3 VATS bypass modules... the LED melts the whole thing... I still really haven't figured out what the PO did but when you first try to start the engine on one of them.... the fuel pump goes on.... yes this is a good thing.... except... it never goes off. turn the key off and remove it and the fuel pump just runs and runs until it runs the battery down.
so... back to the bypass module I am using the timers shop GM VATS bypass made in USA white, red, black, blue and green wire with a blue led.
This is a 1993 40th anniversary Corvette with a 6 speed...
I have ground to black and blue
keyed 12Volts to Red
White to pin 7 on the "computer" Brown connector(DarkGreen/While) (sometimes from the computer I can have2.9 volts here...sometimes I have 7 or 8 or 9 and sometimes (mostly) I have vehicle voltage
This is based on the directions from the people that make this.
