Cover of April Car and Driver has C7 Pic
Hopefully, this is not a dup but just got my copy in the mail today... Under a C&D story of "25 cars worth waiting for", the C7 is there in all it's glory. Front looks cool while the rear end looks plenty aggressive but has more rectangular Camaro like taillights. C&D likes to do April fools - hopefully, this is real. Check it out....

CorvetteBlogger had it from LAST April --
CD is saying its the 2013 but we already know what the 2013s look like as the Anniversary Edition images have already been released. But this image varies greatly from the pics posted of the C7 Alpha cars running around the proving grounds.

If he just got it in the mail today, I doubt it was last years issue. USPS is slow, but come on.

Like the look of the front, but not digging that rear end AT ALL. The taillights and overall design look more like a Camaro than a Corvette. Really hope that's not the finished product.

I don't mind the tails, but I could see a market for somebody who can get their hands on the test mule for measurements and subsequently design a new, aftermarket rear fascia. Shouldn't be all too hard. Caravaggio has one out for the C6, as does Specter Werks.
RPI / Supervettes / Caravaggio / etc... get on it!

I'm pretty safe not being a fan of the 2013 Ford Fusion!
Like to see and drive the NSX - but expect it has a somewhat boring powerplant.
I'm positive I'll like the Corvette - but my C6 Vert works wonders for me now. Maybe the 427 Vert could be the next target car for me?

Both the red and the silver versions shown are smoking hot..
480hp 6.2 liter Gen 5 v8 is my guess for the base car which weighs in at 3000 lbs..
manual and torque convertor automatic available...(no dual clutch at launch if ever...boohiss)
Beautiful Corvette with of course the interior to finally end the bitching of the media....
Wow! Thanks for posting up..

Yes I also remember seeing that red rendition on the cover over a year ago, I liked it then and I still like it now too.
I like the latest (silver) one too but again, it's just too soon to make final judgment.

And so will that, though I too would still rather see both a manual and DCT/'manumatic' type automatic instead.
