Corvette Museum Spills C7 Reveal Date

Could it be? It's not like the Corvette museum is the official word from GM, but still I have to wonder. The North American Auto Show is around the same time so they might just be making educated assumptions. Then again, they might just know something we don't. What do you think?

NCM works closely with the factory, so they have good information. That being said, they got this date wrong. The correct reveal date was November 14, 2011.

...please forgive me.

Old news we all know that the C7 will be shown at the 2013 detroit Auto show in January.

Also dont be surprized that some media shots will be leaked sometime in Dec this year.

I'd say we will know what it looks like when it hits the 'Rin in the summer or fall. By that time, the camo will be so thin that it won't leave much for the imagination.

So true, haha. Its fun to search old posts of current C6 owners and see how much they hated the new C6 when they had a C5.

Haha I hear ya...seems like this happens with every time. That and the huge depreciation drop in price for the current gen.

If the C7 going to be revealed in January, I expect real pics with little/no camo will leak in Q4.

You got it. Remember the "lucky" guy who caught a red C6 on a transporter (in San Francisco I think) back in November 2003....it was one heck of a photo for an amateur photographer "just strolling down the street".

IIRC they were the cars on the transporter for the first commercial Michael Bay did for Chevrolet as they were prepping the first Transformers movie. Wound up being the spot with the Vette racing through the deserted warehouse.
