Review of the Ceramic Brake Pads from O'Reilly
I put these pads on after I got my powder coated calipers back from Mike. I am very pleased with them IMO. Dust has been cut down alot.
I have had them on for about 3 weeks. For the past 3 days it has been in the 60's here in Denver and I have been enjoying the sun and all, specially with the top down. Dust!! not visible compared to the OEM pads, what a great difference.
I have not heard any kind of noise. The stopping power to me is the same if not better than OEM.
They are called BrakeBest Select Ceramic - Brake Pads
They are made by Bosch!!!
Cost:
Front- 114.99
Rear- 40.20
Total with tax $167.76
I wanted to share my views on these.
Thanks
Tom

Tom...thank you for sharing...I'm in the market to replace my OEM pads due to the amount of dust. Have been considering the Hawk's Pads, but open to other options.
I have an O'Reilly's about a mile from my home....do you have the part numbers? If you do, great...If not, no worries.
BTW, I had Bosch Ceramics put on my daily driver (VW Beetle TDI) 5 years ago...Zero dust and after 100K miles lots of pad left

If you're talking GS, which is the same multi padlet set up as the ZO6, $170 bucks for all of that is one heck of a deal. While lower dust on the street, don't try running ceramics for track days, unless you enjoy crashing into things.

I believe any brand of Ceramic pads will cut down brake dust. I ordered a set of GM pads from Gene(Partshouse) when I first got my 08 Vert. I have 25,000 miles on them and the SQUEAKING finally stopped.

According to O'Reilly's Website the ones I purchased are good for the 2005-2011 Base Corvette.

are you guys not planning on replacing your rotors at the same time ? May be asking for problems.
I always just replace the rotors when replacing the pads on any vehicle
