Burning Brakes
That's it and judging by the shape and style of the wheels in the last couple pics, it looks a hell of a lot like the jalopnik renderings.
Look at the front profile and head lights, dead on.

That looks pretty close to a physical version of Jalopnik's renderings. All of us who called bull on Jalopnik only a couple of months ago may soon eat our words. Those wheels, those headlights, it's all almost dead on. The only difference I see is that the taillights may be circular, like the C6. But, who knows, this may be GM's way of fooling us. They may want us to think that the Jalopnik renderings will prove true, only to reveal a slightly different product when the times comes.
You can't tell much from this picture, but it is a clear evolution of the C6 style, which is exactly what GM said it would be. Call me selfish, but I already want to see more lol.

fantastic! I CAN DRIVE THE C7 ON SNOW!!
but really, way too close to jalopnik! although the rear bumper/decklid shape looks a little different.
Things I noticed:
-there is a seam across the roof above the b-pillar. that means there 'should' be a removable targa roof!
-looks like LED taillights with clear lenses.
-ridiculously evolutionary.

Does look to have those crappy Jalopnik taillights behind that body covering. UGH!
Maybe it'll look better in person.

Not so fast. Given the differences in the placement of the rear seam of the targa top, it appears the halo of the C6 may still be there, unlike the Jalopnik rendering where this seam is farther back thus no halo. This is a big difference.

Does anyone think there is a little more credibility to the add rumors that were initially floating around? Of course this could just be temperature testing, but there is a chance that the C7 will at least offer one performance model with awd to remain competitive amongst younger buyers.

i have a feeling the parallelogram-ish taillights are just a facade. the actual lenses on the car are round, the cover is just sitting on top of them. I think it is there to just through people off. i bet the taillights will ultimately be round.

Wow, even the wheels are the same as the render. Jalopnik was spot on.
This car is going to be awesome. As I said before, a lot of people are going to hate it and end up buying one once they realize how good it will be. Happens with every new iteration of an iconic car.

You're right. Look at the exhaust pipes, they are clearly different. Also look at the camo patterns above the exhaust.
