Default Inglese induction

I have a 2002 C5 and would like to do something different than a supercharger or turbo. I have no idea what would be involved in doing this. Does anybody have any ideas as to what would need to be done?

I do not think they make an LS1 manifold, but it would look pretty cool and they make an EFI model. Keep us updated if you try it, and please post before and after dyno results.

They will custom make a sheet metal intake. They said they have done a few for streetrods with LS motors.

Maybe you could keep it fuel injected and keep the price down by using street bike throttle bodies. Just a thought...

I talked with them at SEMA about doing a set up for my 427 Cobra. Give them a call, they can go over everything involved. Seems to me they indicated they had done LS engines in Vettes before.

a crank driven supercharger would be pretty sweet... replacement for the torque tube? thinking out of the box.

Just shut off the ETC control in the PCM, very easy.

Are you talking about running down draft carburetors, mechanical fuel injection, even cooler yet, an old mechanical fuel inejection system converted to EFI?

I've heard the mechanical fuel injection to EFI is a nightmare. You have eight little throttle bodies to deal with.

Check the pro-touring web site. There is a second generation camaro with a big block running that setup. That website is worth checking out just to see that engine setup. I'd post a link, but I don't know what happend to the section you could check out some of the cars. Sorry.
