Default What years was Atomic Orange available

Of all the Orange paints for the C6, I think the Atomic Orange is the best. What years was that paint available?

According to my Black Book (total produced): 2007 (3790), 2008 (2246), and 2009 (726).

Nope, just wondered what years this AWESOME paint was available. Not many AO 07-09's on eBay. That Daytona Sunset Orange was nice too, but I love the slightly lighter shade the Atomic Orange is.

I just missed out on 07 coupe in little rock at great price. Had to really think about the color with the two tone interior. Maybe forum member picked it up

I have a friend that has/had a beautiful AO Corvette that is/was for sale. Racer86 Vette is his forum tag.

Funny because I feel just the opposite. I think DSOM was the best orange because it had more color saturation than AO.

Atomic and Daytona Sunset throw off more shade variations than just about any other Corvette colors. I'm not a painter, but I suppose it has to do with the reflection of light off of the metallic flakes. Strange that they discontinued both, and then went to tomato orange that first appeared on the Camaro.

To my eyes, and there's 67 years on them, it looks like the Daytona Sunset Orange was more of the Copper color like back in the early 60's. Atomic Orange is more of an Orange and the pearl/metallic in it gives off the different shades depending on the angle the Sun is shining of the body.

I can't find it right now but there is a difference between DSOM and AO. DSOM has more red in it which I like better as it appears warmer. I'm sure someone will post side by side photos. Just can't find the link.

Atomic Orange is on the left. Daytona Sunset Orange is on the right.
