Default [PROCEDURE] - Fast 92 Intake, and LS2 Throttle Body Install (C5 Corvette)

Guys:

I installed a new FAST 92mm Intake, and new LS2 Throttle Body this weekend. I hope to get it tuned in the next week or so.

I wrote a procedure on the install on my web site.
www.ToqueZ06.com
Scroll down to "Fast 92 intake, and LS2 Throttle Body install"

Hope this helps someone out !

Nice write up.... do you still have 30# injectors? You might want to upgrade to larger injectors as you get your tuned. I have a similar set up, AFR 205, cam, ported FAST 90 and LS2 TB....my injectors (stock) duty cycle is 100% at WOT. I'm upgrading to #42.

Thank you! I just got a FAST 90/90 that I'll be installing in about a month. I've been looking for a quality write up like this one. Where did you get the connector that goes in the air coupler?

Thanks ! I have SVO 30# injectors that flow 36#. Funny you mention it because I was going to ask my tuner what Duty cycle I'm running once I tune it.... Thanks for the heads up !

Your welcome. I hope it helps. I got the various air connector parts at Auto Zone. Many parts places carry these parts though. They are made by a company called DORMAN, and are part of the "HELP" series of parts. Generic parts really. Good luck !

Outstanding writeup. I appreciate the fact that you are so **** about cleanliness. You cleaned the compartment before you did your install. You cleaned every part before reinstalling it. You are truly a Corvette guy! Again, outstanding!

For those of you who haven't see this guy's web site, like me, do so. He must do this stuff for a living. On his website he shares all the mods we'd all like to do with part numbers, pictures, and links. His led section is incredible. Again, outstanding. Thank you!

Thank you sir ! I just do this as a hobby. Engineer by trade though. At work I HAVE to be very detailed on what I do. I often write procedures at work for co-workers to learn from.

I have learned so much from this forum in the 10+ years I have been surfing here. I like to share what I have learned when I can. I might not know much, but I try to share what I have learned....

Thanks Matt.... I think...
Just don't ask for help with an LS2 install. I don't think T&A Motorsports can handle that yet...

Great write up. I learned some things. The pictures helped.

Any idea how much hp you gained with the upgrade?
