Default How to remove rear bumper cover, anyone?

I've search and I've seen links to this thread, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...s-install.html, but the pictures are no longer available. The text is pretty helpful, but I'd appreciate it if someone could show some pictures. Even better, if someone could just post an exploded view from a manual.

That's a great guide to removing and installing your fenders, but unfortunatly, it don't show anything about replacing a rear bumper.

That's what the op wanted to know.

Thanks for the helpful post.

The back bumper is easy to get off.

Perhaps the OP will see how in the many pictures on that document.

The wide body guide is very nice piece of information but it doesn't show much on rear fascia removal. The problem I have is not how to remove, but how to put rear fascia back on, so any pics diagrams would help

Sorry I couldn't help any further...but my advice is to just tear into it.

These cars are frankly super easy to work on.

Wait...maybe these pics of mine will help.

One small thing that's not obvious, the tail lights are directional left vs right. They fit in either way, but people behind can't see them light if they are in the wrong way.

Those diagrams are a good find. Do you have to remove the rear wheels and the wheel well liner as part of the rear fascia removal?

rear fascia can be intalled when rear quarters are removed/replaced. Just have to access bolts by removing rear wheels and wheelwell liners.

Thanks for this. I am about to replace mine on my Z06 because I want to go back to the stock setup without the ZR-1 Spoiler.

If your just changing the spoiler, all you need to do is remove the tail lights to get to the nuts holding the spoiler on.
