Very nice conversion!
I see you have the C4 DNE speedometer signal generator in position - did the speedometer drive gear line up with it correctly???
What did you decide on for a 'shifter'???

Roger at Speedometer Solutions might be able to help you out...He came up with a solution for my conversion!

Exactly the opposite of my conversion. I went from the DNE 4+3 to a 4-spd trans w/cable speedometer actuation. I needed a cable operated signal generator.
I'm no expert, but here's what I understand happens...Every time you start the car, the ABS goes through a test cycle. The first part is electrical; the second part occurs when the car reaches 4 mph, when the modulator valve test is run. If there is no signal from the speedo/signal generator, then the test is not conducted and the ABS remains inoperative. This is more thoroughly explained in section 5E-3 & 5E-4 of the FSM.
Normal brake operation "remains fully operational"...
how will this effect my ABS brakes ?

If I understand you, you're going to try using the C4 sender to drive an AutoMeter gauge/cluster??? I would check with John first to make sure it will work...(You might need their sender/pulse generator)...

It works great! No jittering, no error codes, speedo & odo read correctly, ABS tests OK, etc. I didn't like the idea of it being hidden under the car right on the trans, so they made me up a 48" cable extension and I fabricated a bracket to mount it in the engine compartment...
