I saw them in person at the Strictly Corvettes show in AC last month. They were really nice and offered amazing comfort and feel. They totally blew my mind. I don't think you could go wrong with either vendors quality. Both top notch

got a fella around here that brings his ZR1 to the Corvette show that has them and I have to say that APSIS makes a hell of a seat. . . That being said the price is higher than giraffe "insert vulgarity here" .... but damn sure are nice.

If the prototype seats that were shown at the C5/C6 Bash were made from the same material as we will be seeing in production, then I have to disagree with this statement...
When I was there I talked to a few of the engineers about the seats, as the material had a better feeling to me (and others around me agreed) and they said the material was from a different supplier and was a better grade of leather.
I'm not saying it is the premium Nappa leather you can get from some vendors, but IMHO it definitely was softer and felt better than my 09 seats...
We'll see when the seats make it to the showroom.

I highly recommend sitting in any seat before you buy. I sat in these seats at the Atlantic City show and they are very nice, but I don’t want shoulder bolsters touching my shoulders the way these did. Why do you want different seats, looks, auto-x, track-days?

I think they are absolutely worth what they are charging. The stuff from down south vettes isnt that much cheaper than apsis and its no where close to being on the same level.

I sat in both Apsis and Caravaggio; both excellent. Not inexpensive, but it takes time and product to produce something that nice.

I dont think their stuff is all that expensive. I mean think about it, the price between a 1LT and 4LT is about 15k, and a nicely done ( not maxxed out but nice ) Apsis or Caravaggio interior is around 20k. If you look at the quality of materials between GM and these vendors, its not even in the same ballpark. We are talking cheap automotive 1mm thin leather coated by vinyl, compared to thick, high end exotic quality imported leather.

I don't own them but have sat in the Super Deluxe seats both times I went to the APsis shop for other products. My .02 cents - they're fabulous. Looks, comfort, fit, quality, it's all there. Can't compare them to Caravaggios, I'll let those that own them chime in on them. I can say the APsis seats are outstanding.

Be careful what you wish for. My Aston Martin had Connolly leather. Yes it smelled and looked wonderful. However, like anything in life there were trade offs. Fine materials like Connolly Leather and Alcantara headliners tend to scuff and scratch very easily. They also require special leather treatments such as "Hyde Food" instead of normal interior dressings. I thought owning an exotic was going to be fun. In the end, it turned out to be just another pain in the a$$.
