Air deflector - Wind jammer? (and other stuff)
Has anybody here tried this product?

If so, does anyone have better pictures of the deflector installed?

Yes, it has to be removed when the targa is on. It just attaches using the same 2 bolts as the roof panel. So it is simple to install and remove.

Thanks alot, does not look really bad at all
Was really surprised how much wind noise there was in the Vette with the top off compared to my 1985 T/A. Something has to be done, and this sure seems like a good option.

If you look closely at my picture you will see I also have the wind deflectors on the mirrors. They about totally eliminated the wind in my face. Between the two I could about dirve it all winter with the heater on and be comfortable with the top off.

Ok, I'll continue the quest for noise and wind reduction:

Any experiences with this?

I bought it to cool my interior off in the summer time. When its open the air flows right through, in fact, I have not noticed any reduction in wind noise, actually its louder because now I hear my beautiful exhaust note...

I have a similar product that opens the hatch a bit. It does nothing to noise but I think it helps a bit as the rear of the car doesn't anymore act as a closed space but lets air out. So, less "buffeting" inside the cockpit.

I'll just contionue in the same thread, as I'm new to the Vette and keep finding accessories I'm curious about.
This I suppose is more universal, but has anybody tried it?

On my 86 what I do is use the hatch vent ( about $20 ). With the hatch vent in place, the targa top off and the windows up when on the highway you can listen to the radio or talk in a normal tone no problem. It's just like you had the targa top on and the windows up works great.
