It sounds like your trying to set the clock. Hold you finger down on the screen over the time until the window for resetting shows up.

If you just push and release the time display on the nav screen, it will tell the current day and date.

If you push and hold the time display for about 5 seconds, it will bring up the page to reset the clock.

You need to do this for driver (fob) #1, and then switch to driver (fob) #2 and do it again.

Good luck to you!

If you can access the clock information as described above, there's a GPS time button you can turn off therefore manually setting the clock. I don't know if there's a NAV disc or other way of setting up the NAV for Spain. I know GM exports cars over there so there must be a way of doing this. You might contact GM Customer Service directly for this and see if they can help you.

If you insert the Western Europe DVD the nav system will work perfectly. If you import a car from the US to Europe and it still has the home address of the US owner there will be an error saying "no map data for this location". Which is normal because the Europe DVD doesn't cover the US.

Been there, seen it...

There is a way of deleting the "Home" address of the previous owner and its in the menus there somewhere. There's a link to the NAV functions here in the forum and I'll see if I can find it. Here is the instructions...BTW, simple search found it in here "Using the C6 Nav"

Stored Locations
Once a destination has been stored, the address
information can then be edited and deleted.
See Stored Locations on page 40 for more
information on other features that can be stored,
edited, and deleted.
To delete the stored home destination, do the
following:
1. Press the power/volume **** to turn the
system on.
2. Insert the DVD map disc. See “Installing the
Map DVD” under Maps on page 67 for more
information.
3. A notice may appear. Touch the Agree screen
button to proceed.
If the radio is already on with a map disc
inserted, press the NAV hard key.
4. Press the MENU screen button.
5. Press the N Stored Locations screen button.
6. Press the L Home screen button.
7. Press the Delete screen button.
8. A confirmation pop-up screen will
appear: select Yes to delete; select
No to cancel the operation.
To delete a waypoint or a stored preset
destination, do the following:
1. Press the power/volume **** to turn the
system on.
2. Insert the DVD map disc. See “Installing the
Map DVD” under Maps on page 67 for more
information.
3. A notice may appear. Touch the Agree screen
button to proceed.
If the radio is already on with a map disc
inserted, press the NAV hard key.
4. Press the MENU screen button.
5. Press the N Stored Locations screen button.
6. Press the$Dest. & Way Pt. or the &
Previous Dest. screen button.
7. Press the Delete screen button, then select
the way point or the numbered preset button
to delete.
8. A confirmation pop-up screen will
appear: select Yes to delete; select
No to cancel the operation.
