I don't understand what the perseverance was? Making himself cut another check to someone who was doing all the work? I thought HE built the car, that I would have understood. Too have one built for you and then to sell it, it just doesn't make sense to me. Oh well, there's one born every day.

Yea Mike, it seems funny he has one on the gas pedal only, maybe he ran out of money and had to draw the line somewhere.... When money seems to be not an issue and you can have or do what you want, you really can`t feel too bad that he lost money on the car. Oh well, it`s only money.

He coverd the $200K in one appearance. I am sure he doesn't care what it sold for, or if it even sold at all.

What is odd is that someone actually left the 75 to 79 nose on the front of a 68 vette, when they had access to the kind of funds for the build. Oh, and the clutch trim too.

i find it hard to perceive it as to hell and back when the toughest thing done was moving a pen on a check. i guess it's all in the perception.
