The Z06 with the Z07 package is a fing BEAST
Yes it has a "old fashioned" tranny. Yea the interior is not par with a Ferrari, BUT it goes and sounds like stink for less than 50% of the high end exotics. And you can maintain it your self for almost nothing. What else is there to say? The haters will always be haters..........

GM should send a ZR1 with cup tires to Laguna and shatter that record. Maybe even break the record with the Z06 with Magnussen driving. Not that Pobst isn't capable of doing it himself also with more attempts.

Totally agree. Have to remember that the 1:33.x time for the Viper wasn't done like Motor Trend's group test where the driver has just a few laps to get used to the car. When Pobst ran the ACR, he lapped in 1:35.12.

Man, that video is causing a lot of debate on youtube. LFA lovers are crying "it's not fair" because of the tires. LFA's cost $375000. WTF? A 2012 CE Z06 and a nice house with large garage to keep it in -vs- an LFA. Hmmmm. What would you choose?
