Racing is racing and I fully understand the potential risks, but God I sure hate to see this happen to one of these old classics!
I have often thought about doing some light competition with the 56, but this is exactly what supresses me from doing so.

Safety Car
This was a real shame. A fellow from Lincoln, Nebraska entered this 80's vintage raced SVRA car with disc brakes. It is a 56 RACER VIN #2540 FROM RMVR HISTORY The car had been in storage for over 20 years and it and the driver were new to the game. Not sure what happened, but it was a single car mishap and the brakes locked up. Thank God, no one was hurt.
