I'd do it hot and running with a cutout valve cover to shield the mess. You know the drill, back off until it clatters, back in until it doesn't and go in another half to three quarter turn.

there seems to be many 'opinions' as to how many turns and whether they are just 'noisy' no matter how they are adjusted...
i figured with all the ZZ4s that people have stuffed in their C1/C2 that someone(s) would have the 'facts'.
