On second look, though it has the rear brake vents, looks more like Grand Sport wheels.
Best wishes to those involved.

LODI—
A Pontiac was cut in half after it was broadsided by a speeding Corvette convertible around midnight Saturday.
Lodi police say after the Corvette hit the Pontiac, it flipped upside down and skidded another 700 feet on its top.
This happened on Lower Sacramento Rd. at Kettleman Lane/Highway 12.
The three people riding in the Pontiac only had minor injuries, but the 53-year-old woman driving the Corvette was badly hurt and airlifted to a south Sacramento hospital. She had injuries to her face, upper body and her hand was severed in the crash.

Also from the News 10 site
"A woman driving a 2011 Corvette convertible was speeding southbound on Lower Sacramento Road when she broadsided the 1994 Pontiac Bonneville in the intersection. Eubanks said the impact of the collision cut the Pontiac in half and sent the Corvette flying down the road, upside down another 700 feet.
Three people inside the Pontiac walked away with minor injuries but the woman driving the Corvette sustained major injuries to her face and upper body and severed one of her hands in the crash, said Eubanks.
The woman, whose name was not released, was airlifted to a south Sacramento hospital in serious condition.
Police investigators said it appears the woman was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol."

Maybe she was just driving under the influence of a performance car.
Did they find her hand? Which hand was it? I hate it when the media doesnt cover a story in detail.

Its so nice a witness can give a speed the Vette was going over to the police when it passed him. What does him having his 3 daughters in the car have to do with anything? I passed a school bus on the freeway the other day. I didnt slow down...

This is a major intersection in Lodi. However, three of the corners of the intersection have shopping complexes on them. The fourth corner is an open field. Basically anything east of Sacramento Rd. is the city of Lodi. Everything west is farm land.

WOW dude your a f@cking tool. Read the message. I am driving with my kids down the road and some idiot flies by and shortly after has a wreck like this. I can assure you that the parent driving had a thought in their head "that could have been us". WOW

Another testament to the C6 crashworthiness. Especially for a convertible. Yes, the windshild failed, but we don't know the energy it took to do so. I've seen a C6 on it's w'shild before...with another car on top of it and the "A piller" held BOTH cars. Substantial energy with this one proved by the Pontiac becoming 2 pieces, though. 130MPH? maybe, maybe not. The black box will tell (if the cops want it.)
This looks like a 23152B or C if one of the other party dies...

If I at all thought the comments would offend YOU I would have edited them. I knew you would laugh though. I think we share the same mentality there. On topic however it is a tragic accident and hope the news is orrect in saying the owners of the Bonne are safe. As for the Corvette driver, natrual selection. I speed and drive reckless. Hell I was doing about 135 when my motor blew on a public road BUT I was in the middle of nowhere and couldnt see a car for at least 2 miles. Had I wrecked, well guess what. You got it Natural Selection. As for my beast it is coming along. My builder had a couple ideas that I like. He is extending the pins on the cradle and machining spacers for the cradle to get the Fast 102mm in there as well as reutilizing my egr pump as some sort of vacumn for oil blow by??? Not sure what that means but he said it would be very affective. Hell who knows should be a blast once it is home.
