First time tuner-want to get my feet wet-HP tuners the best?
Hi all,
I'm interested in learning about tuning my car and being able to make minor tweaks to it and essentially teach myself along the way.
Does anyone have experience with the initial start-up of tuning and what the best route to take for someone with minimal (none) experience?
I remember seeing a thread about a specific book regarding tuning EFI motors but I can't find the website.
I'm not interested in anything extreme, but I would like to learn all the different aspects of tuning and I'm not sure what the first step is to take.
I was thinking I would pick up an HP setup and wideband and do some reading to understand how it all flows/works together.
Your thoughts/opinions are appreciated.
Justin

Check out The Tuning School they are located in your area of Florida, they offer both home basic and advanced courses and classroom training. Get the Greg Banish CD's or any of his books. Check out the HP tuner or EFI live forums for more infomation.

Is one better than the other? HP versus EFI? Greg Banish was the author I heard about-thank you, I'll be sure to grab his book and/or CD. Does he have any DVDs?

I use HP tuners, but it comes down to personal choice.
