Pretty cool, I wonder if they put a super large gas tank in it since they won't be needing the space for the soft top...

I think you guessed right about him knowing his stuff.

I do believe you were talking with Vette Daddy.

It is a late(r) 54 car....
Press molded with late 54 body mounts...

This is possibly the second one that he has done, if I remember correctly he posted a couple years ago that he completed a seafoam green one like this.
He also owns or did own a 53 serial #29.

No problem there are several great pictures of the Corvair on the Covette Action Center too. It even has alot more headroom than a normal Corvette.

what do you consider early? i know it has two hood pulls, but that still covers a wide range of cars.
