1992 Corvette; LT1/6 speed, clean and fast

But here is the scoop...
This is a 1992 Corvette. 300hp LT1 engine and 6-speed/ZF6 transmission with the 3.45 "performance" rear axle. This car is in great condition, has been totally reliable for me, and runs fantastic. How fantastic? It is hands down, the fastest stock LT1 in UT. This is based on it running a 13.8 @ 100 at RMR; nearly a full second faster than most LT1 cars that I've seen run there. (keep in mind the 4500' elevation; car would go LOW 13's/105 or better at sea level). It is very healthy. Car is stock with the exception of:
*C5 brake up grade in front (13" rotors, and C5 calipers)
*DRM Brake bias spring (adds more pressure to the rear to keep the system balanced with the larger front brake upgrade)
*C5 Z06 wheels (needed to clear larger front brakes)
*Hawk HP+ pads all around
*Motul RBF 600 brake fluid
*Koni fully adjustable shocks
*RD Camber brace
*Synthetic fluids, throughout
*B&M short throw shifter
Car also has upgraded speakers (JBL), a 6 disc changer, and some brand new Lloyds, logo'd floor mats.
I'm selling due to a move. Moving to a place where there are a lot of dirt roads, and the car won't be practical...and frankly, I wouldn't even WANT to drive the car on any dirt roads. I really enjoy the car, and I really don't want to sell it. However, if you're interested, get in touch and we can arrange a look. I'm asking $9000.00 for starters.

Sorry. It's in the link, but my bad; I should have put it in the text above. Will edit accordingly. Thanks for looking/asking.

Yes.
I have not done the clutch, but the PO had it done at a chevy dealer and I have the paperwork for that. The car also had a new CCM installed by Chevy, and as I recall, that is it other than PM's. I can go through the file though, and give you a complete run down of all work done to it, if you're interested.

Checked my file. Clutch was replaced Dec '07 at 130k miles by Gus Paulos Chevrolet in Utah. At the same time, the CCM was also replaced. Other than that, all the receipts that I have are for oil changes/PM's.

Bringing her back up. Just washed/waxed/detailed and man...the car looks good. To me anyway.

That is my offer $3500, and it is top dollar for a high milage LT-1 that is 19 years old and has been abused at the drag strip in Utah. PM me if you want to make the deal.

Thanks! I appologize for "84cfi" -he's basically a pest who follows others around forums for no other reason than to harrass them...as he's doing here. He has no intention (or means) of buying my or anyone elses 'Vette regardless of price.
Thanks for looking.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your 92 vette? Just trying to gauge what this 92 is worth. I see this one is still on the market I might be able tolow ball the price and get a good deal.

No low-balling this one. Not for you anyway.
Anyone else is welcome to make an offer, but I'm an un-motivated seller.

I purchased mine from a senior member on this forum and paid his asking price. I feel like I got a great deal. Condition is everything with these cars, and if it's a Vette guy that took care of the car, I would never try to lowball the seller.
Your car will sell but you just have to find the right buyer and situation.

Tom,
Just a heads up, it looks like the pictures in your original post are no longer working. Sounds like a great car that has been well maintained and has a documented history which is key for these cars.
GLWS!

I will put an unsolicited good word in for this car and Tom. This is a very clean, very fun driving car. Tom is a maintenance professional and a thorough mechanic and knowledgable car enthusiast. This car has been very reliable and very well taken care of. The car is well built to handle light drag racing with the bullet-proof 6 speed, solid Dana 44 rear axle, and stock engine. Tom used this car as a daily driver and kept this car in top condition. GLWS, Tom.
