Default Michelin Pilot Super Sport 345/30ZR19

Great news! I just called Michelin to see if a Pilot Super Sport 345/30ZR19 is in development and was told this it is!

No word on availability; however, at least it's in the works. I hope my GY run craps can hold up for a little longer until the PSS 345/30ZR19 is available. I hope! I hope! I hope!

You know, I was so pumped that Michelin is developing a PSS 345/30ZR19 that I forgot to ask about pricing. No doubt it will be around $550 per tire.

BTW, as a way to speed up getting the PSS 345/30ZR19 to market, the Michelin representative said more interested consumers need to call as I did. Call! Call!! Call!!!

BTW, I'm dumbfounded that Michelin produced and marketed a PSS 345/30ZR20 before a 345/30ZR19. IMO that sure appears to be poor marketing research on Michelin's behalf. Who knows? Maybe there's more 20's on the street than I think.

The 275/35 18 is available and the back 325/30 19 should be out soon, since it's the rear of a 997 GT2.

Just like Potenza, companies are focusing on Grand Sports... and thus we are included. They want to develop tires in Grand Sport sizes and don't want to go any larger than the 325. The RE-11 is coming out soon in Grand Sport sizes... but not larger sadly enough. I don't want to run anything under a 335 personally.. My NT05's are the first tire that have hooked for me... the PS2 was just a pile of garbage after the halfway point.

The Bstone Pole Position Potenza was designed long before the GS was born. It was specifically designed for the Z06. GM, in their infinite wisdom, chose the GY instead.

At least the GS guarantees better tire availability in the future.

I think this is going to be the tire to beat! it has better wear rating then the PS2`s...its retail price is cheaper...and it has a 55,000 kilometer warranty (@35K miles) to back it up

I have a set of those in the 20" coming for my GT, but you should check the rolling height, because they are substantially lower than the stock tires.

I gotta tell you, this kind of response is really becoming the norm around here. It's like douche-alcoholsim is running rampant. And from grown men to boot.
