Vararam VR2B install
Finally got around to installing the Vararam VR2B CAI and the VR Power Duct on my 2000. OMG! Took me and my son about 3 hours (I know, a little long, but what the hey - father/son time). Live in a rural area. After we were done and I had warmed her up, I pulled out of the driveway, turned left, punched it, and almost lost it. With the traction control ON!
This is an amazing performance mod! Well worth the extra $$. This car is TOTALLY different. Instant throttle response, at any speed. Much more aggressive exhaust as well!
Wow! I love this car even more (if possible!)

Congratulations.
If you don't have one now, I suggest you have a back up filter to swap out so as to not have to wait for the oiling to dry once you reoil the initial filter.
Second, make sure you meticulously look over the air filter seal between the filter and the clam shell design when pulling the filter for cleaning. The backing of the sticky foam tends to shift or lose its tackiness in hot or humid weather or simply over time.
I think that sticky foam design sucks myself.....I wish they would update the design to some sort of rubber seal, like you can seal the hood/front fascia with...the same stuff the trunk/hatch seals with. Weather seal?

Yeah after finding sand and a blade of grass past the filter I siliconed my filter into the top. Worth it for peace of mind and it's still easy to clean.

I run a Blackwing right now, but someday I think I will switch over to the Vararam. No doubt it is the best out there for performance gains.

Install instructions really sucked, but common sense prevailed. It is a tight fit to MAF.
LOVE IT!
