Default HRE Wheels Referb

After 10 years of use I sent my 547's back to HRE for minor repair and refinish with their powder coat clear on top of the highly polished finish. They found 2 slight damaged outer front rims. With new lugs, new center caps, replacing two outer rings and the refinish the total came to $1,350. While the initial purchase cost may be a tad high, their customer servive is the best I have delt with, ever. Vince Borja took care of me like a brother. With new tires (295x35x18 rear and 265x35x18 in front) new TPS and brand new looking HRE 547's, all 525 HP will be rocking down the road very soon. HRE is a top notch Company.

I agree completely. Vince and the crew at HRE are are the best.

They refinished a set of 545Rs that another company had screwed up. When I got them back they looked new.

I had my i-Forged Swifts refurbished a little over a year ago by a local wheel shop.

You want customer service....here's one I had from HRE a few yrs back.

One day when cleaning my rims I noticed a hair line crack on one of the front spokes (543's). I was the 2nd owner of the rims but they were brand new, had never left the box when I bought them. I contacted Vince and made arrangements to have the rim sent back to them. The rims were around 5yrs old so they were out of warranty. When HRE seen the rim, they replaced the hub for free no questioned asked. It doesn't get any better than being the 2nd owner, out of warranty and being taking care of HRE is a great company!!

Good to hear that there are some companies out there that still know the meaning of customer service.

This is what it takes to be the best, there are a lot of companies out there producing expensive three piece wheels. Too many times we hear about crappy customer service, it is refreshing to read something good for a change. To the OP - I hope you enjoy your HRE's for many years to come and thanks for sharing......you've restored my faith.

That's the way to treat a customer and stand behind your product! After 10 years, you basically have a new set of HRE's for $1350!!

Sometimes you do get what you pay for, even if you don't know your paying for it. Good customer service on the back end of a purchase is priceless.

For the price of HRE's you should get curb side service, and a happy ending too...

Glad you got your wheels all cleaned up ! Can't wait to see pics !
