2000 C5 Hardtop MAP Sensor Location
I am getting a code P0107 and feel that with over 100K miles, the MAP sensor has finally bit the dust.
I cant seem to locate it and the only picture I though I saw shows that it is attached to the back of the manifold (right next to the fire wall).
Is this correct and is there and easy way to replace?

Bill,
Great picture but is that the back of the manifold after it has been removed? If not, where exactly is that?
If it is the back of the manifold, I am probably going to punt to my local guy to fix for me rather than trying to do a weekend project and most likely do more damage in the process.

MAKE SURE that who ever does the repair just doesn't slide the manifold forward, replace the sensor and slide it back. If you look at the picture of the valley, you will see all kinds of sand and dirt.
The little Vacuum line is also critical to be properly connected. Its tough. If I were you I would purchase a nylon vacuum line repair kit from AutoZone / Advance and give it to the mechanic to extend the line. If its not connected properly, the HVAC Vents will not change properly.
