Nobody who has fitted one has come back with any proven results.Only seat of the pants

Waiting on CF member Ben73 to run his now he has it installed and he has years of track data to compare it with.

I have a renegade and it seems to have more power, I don't have any before and after 1/4 mile runs, but I can borrow a g-tech and see what it runs now. When the rain lets up I will make a few runs with the g-tech. If I am in the 14's that would mean it works better than stock, I think a stock crossfire with some milage on it would run mid 15's.

Totally useless without accurate before / after data.

It would at least show what a 26 year old crossfire would run with a renegade. I will post what I get and you don't have to read it or comment on it either. I am guessing it will run between 14.8 to 15.6

About 10 years ago I borrowed my buddies g-tech and it ran a 15.1 to 15.3. So I will give it a shot. I put the renegade in and it might not be setup right but I will run it anyway. It seems to run smooth but who knows if my TB's are perfectly balanced or if my TPS is set perfect. Nobody has really said which fuel pressure to have it set at. If it clears up tomorrow I will test it out. Just set the G-tech and hit it

My 84 has the Xram set with 85FP 8746 ECM with a chip up and although I never raced this car the previous owner claimed beating L98s were not a problem. I understand the renegade is` suppoed to be a better set up. So I would hope low 14s or better would be realiatic.

I got 14.0 with lots of wheel spin so it should get high 13's with slicks. I am not buying slicks so who cares what it will do with slicks.

Rodj. You may be better off getting your stock intake rebuilt. I met this guy at Bloomington Gold a few years ago. From the unit he had on display it appears that he does nice work. Other Forum members in the Chicago area have posted that he is reliable and does a great job on both carbs and Cross Fires.

Ya know, I just can't figure out the "religion".....if you like a product, that is fine.....but fabricating fairy tales is another.

Thanks for pointing out the connection as to the multiple user names.
