Default My list of Diagnostic Codes - Check Engine JUST came on!

Hey All! My check engine light came on last night as I was driving, even though the car really didn't feel any different, i'm lead to believe that it's definitely an issue I should look in to...just because. (I'm not one to think "Oh, it's just the oxygen sensor").

Anyways, I understand that the "H" and the "C" in the diagnostic codes represent "Historical" and "Current"...and there was only one "C" code...at the same time, there were several codes that I wasn't able to decipher.

Could someone translate them for me? Additionally, can you guys lend some insight as to how to fix these codes and if the check engine light is the result of the current "C" code?

Thanks in advance!

CODES:

10 PCM:
P1415 H C - Secondary Air Injection (AIR) system bank 1

40 BCM
B2578 H - Right Turn Signal Monitor Circuit

B2206 H - Right Window Up Switch Circuit
B2282 H - Battery #1 Circuit
B2284 H - Battery #2 Circuit
U1064 H - ?????

A1 RDCM:
B2283 H - Battery #1 Circuit
B2282 H - Battery #2 Circuit
B2263 H - Horizontal Position Sensor Circuit
B2265 H - Vertical Position Sensor Circuit
U1064 H - ?????

BO RFA:

U 1016 H - ?????

28 TCS: NO CODES
58 SDM: NO CODES

Please CLEAR the DTCs.... Thats just too many to try to sort thru. I bet ya that when you clear all the DTCs NONE come back except maybe the 1415 DTC.

Thats going to require the AIR Check valve to be replaced.

A weak battery or disconnecting the battery can and will cause all those history DTCs

Hey Bill! I'd love to, but my lack of knowledge is keeping me from doing so, especially with the U codes that are undefined. I've changed the battery over the winter so i'm not too worried about some of the battery codes.

It definitely is a lot of codes, no denying that!

So you know how to pull the codes, but not reset them?

It's definitely not that I don't know how to reset the codes...I do know how, it's that I want to make sure that none of them are critical codes before I start resetting things. Thanks for that excerpt, lucky...it brings me a bit closer to understanding what those "U" codes are...just gotta figure out the significance of them is all.

Charlie

You will quickly figure out if a DTC is critical,,,it will come back and come back with a vengence! Just clear ALL of them and work on any that show back up.

Done and done, guys. I'm gonna go get the check engine light checked out too...really curious as to what that's all about, probably just an O2 sensor (grumble). Okay, taking your guys' advice! Thanks again!

Just had to deal with the P1415 over the weekend, seriously only a 10 minute fix once you have the new check valve.
