Default Broken Valve Spring

I have an 03 Z06 all stock with 35k miles with a broken valve spring. This is my first broken valve spring. Is there a way for me to check if there is internal engine damage without removing the cylinder head?

Compression and leakdown test.

Since the engine is staying stock, what springs should I get to replace the current ones?

You could go back with the stock ones, but if you would like an upgrade we have the PAC 1218 springs available for a pretty fair price. We have not seen one failure with these springs when installed correctly.
