What is the diff betwen a 1LT 2LT and 3LT
I have a 3LT and I know I have:
The premium sound system
heated seats
telescoping wheel
HUD
memory seat driver passenger
I think the 2lt differs:
only has electric positional driver seat and no memory
No HUD
no telescoping wheel
no heated seats
no premiums sound
Am I correct so far?

If you are trying to decide on the trim level...I recently purchased a 1lt...however, if I did it again I would have gone for the 2LT...think a lotta bang for the buck.

$4205.00 over easy on the BLT, (sorry, I mean 1LT). Or, $3000 over 2LT.
I have the 3LT.
What options are worth to me, how it breaks down:
1) HUD...$2,200
2) Power Tel Steet Column $500
3) Upgrade stereo $300 (think my 91 sounded better, but oh well...)
4) Mammory package $200
5) XM 1 yr sub...bought used, so 0
6) Universal Home Remote...........WHAT'S THAT? If you dk what it is...0
7) Heated seats...(-200)...because it made my butt crack sweat even in the Chicago winters, when I accidentally bumped the switch on. .
Total value $3000.

I have a 1LT but used to have a 3LT 2002 and the memory package is useless for me since I'm the only driver.
The HUD is nice and I need to put one in my 1LT when I get the time.
The perforated seats?? Does that keep your posterior cooler? That might be nice.
Upgraded stock stereos do nothing for me so no thanks Bose.
Universal home remote can be added easily.
Telescoping column. Hmm, thats a nice feature because it helps you to dial in your perfect driving position but I have learned to live without it.
So for me the 3LT is probably not worth it.
Steering wheel radio controls are neat but its not much of a reach to the head unit.

I remember when I was a young guy I had an 81 Mazda RX7 that was a GSL (top of the line) and my best pal liked it so much he bought an 82 GS. Mine had all the tricks of the day and I sort of made sure he knew how much better my GSL was. I out grew that urge to have a pissing contest over everything and, in retrospect, I've felt bad about being that guy. Fortunately, my buddy was a bigger man than I was and we are still best friends today. I bought an '09 1LT used back in April and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In looking at the 2LT, the only thing I wish I had is the Bluetooth, which I had on my previous car and liked very much. My '00 Z28 had the perforated leather seating surfaces and it did not keep your butt any cooler. Personally, I prefer the look of the solid leather seating surfaces. The Camaro also had the deluxe Bose system and it was kinda meh. I would also cherry pick the home remote from the 3LT package. A pal of mine had a C5 with HUD and wasn't that impressed with it. Certainly, the 3LT package and the 4LT package are grossly over priced.

For convertibles, 1LT and 2LT had manual tops, while 3LT and 4LT came with power tops. When I was shopping back in mid-2013 I was deciding between a 2LT and 3LT and couldn't believe that Chevy would only provide a manual top on a 2LT with a $69,000 MRSP. Ended up going with the 3LT. All C7 tops are power which makes more sense.

I'm guessing my 06 vert may have been an ordered car. An optioned 2LT maybe? It seems to have every 3LT amenity except for NAV and a power top. Six CD Bose, heated perf power leather, power tele wheel, all memory everything etc. No OnStar though but not sure it was available in 06. It also has those very non 3LT looking 'baby' rear brake rotors with no name calipers and although the fronts are large and the calipers have Corvette on them they're not painted. Odd combination....but I'm still a happy guy! I wouldn't want the NAV but not having to get out to lift or drop the top would be nice even though the process takes only a minute.
