Default LS2/LS6 Beehive Yellow Springs

Sold

For sale is a set of LS2/LS6 Beehive springs. These are good up to a .580" lift and are great for a small lift cam upgrade. If you are doing a GM Hot Cam or a Z06 cam these springs will work great and they are the same springs installed in a C5 Z06 from the factory. All seals and retainers are included, although if you are upgrading from LS1 springs you can reuse your seals. Price is $50 shipped with tracking number. ID card is from my user name on the LS1GTO forums, if you would like I can retake the picture with this screen name. I also have some LS2/LS6 Pushrods if you are interested in those.

They have 2000 miles on them after that they were swapped for patriot Dual springs. Witrh the pushrods it would be $70 shipped. Push rods were changed at the same time and have 2000 miles on them as well.

It's cool, they are suited for smaller lift apps. The Comp cams XR269HR is a good cam for them or the GM hot cam.

This is the Hot Cam, it is a bit older and doesn't have the sexy names that some of the others do but it has made power time and time again. The 112LSA is Lopey.
218/227 .525/.525 112 LSA

The XR269HR Is a bit more mild and the 114LSA will be less Lopey and be a bit more smooth for regular every day use.
216 / 220 .525 / .532 114 LSA

The Z06 cam is even more mild but makes good power. The 117.5 LSA makes it sound pretty much stock.
204/218 .551/.541 117.5 LSA

These are of course just a few cams that can be used, there are near endless possiblilities out there as long as the lift is under .580", the Dyno queen cams that you see around all have pretty large lifts and will require even heavier springs.

This should give you an idea of what to expect.

That is the GM hotcam with the 112LSA. If you are looking for that mean sound then 112 is the way to go, if you are looking to let people know you have a cam but keep it down then a cam with a 114LSA is a little better

This is a little bit more aggressive cam than those listed but will work with those springs. this is a 228/228 .577/.577 but at a 114LSA

Not saying that is the cam to go with just it will give you an idea of the difference in the lope. While a cam that size will work with the springs it will wear them out faster due to the higher lift.

I thought the yellow springs were only good for .550 lift. I want them, but would need to find a low mile z06 cam to go with it. If you can do $60 shipped with pushrods (I assume those would work with a z06 cam?) I can take them now and keep on searching.

Older LS6 springs had a lower lift but 2004 up the spings were updated.
These are off a 2005 LS2 GTO. There is a good post here about it.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1571078185-post21.html

Personall I would stick to a cam that lifts .570 or lower. I'll shoot you a PM
**edit some quick searches have issued two sets of numbers, some say .570" some say .580" The .580" may be fore the 05+ springs but like I said, to stay on the safe side, stay below .570"
